Visit to Kishtwar (on NH 1B)

I happen to Visit Kistwar in Sep 2009 due to death of my relative. Road from Batote to kishtwar is half part of NH 1B which is upto Khanbal and is 274 km long & Batote-Kishtwar is 110 kms. The part of Road from Jammu to Ramgarh was good but afterwards condition of the road deteriorated and till Kishtwar road is under toiling. Few important towns on road are Pul-Doda, Premnagar, Thatri, Shalimar etc.Due to time constraints I failed to visit other parts of the area.

Snowfall in Shimla

So dear friends..my friends.. time has come what people had been waiting for ..."Snowing in Shimla"...Lots n Lots of people thronged Shimla in Later part of December during winter carnival from 25 Dec 2008-1 Jan 2009 and sorry they all left without seeing showfall. Now nights are getting cold and for last 2 days we are witnessing showfall in night. But today i feel its going to be heavy Showfall in Shimla as i can sense dropping temparatures since last 2 days. Lets hope tourists comming to shimla and aspiring for A Showfall get their hoped fulfilled.

...but to my dismay i feel it brings a lot of inconveniences to local population of Businessman, Students, Employees who cannt keep themselves locked are busy making Shimla move. Govt must see problems of its people and must do something to make life of people easy during winters.

"Atithi Devo Bhav"...Let Shimla welcome people with showy smile, even u are welcome.
